Danai is a truly multi-disciplinary planning communicator known for his strategic thinking and people-first approach to problem solving.
Bringing a diversity of expertise to all his projects, Danai’s experience spans city-shaping infrastructure, strategic planning, neighbourhood character assessments, community consultation and social strategy.
Danai enjoys working collaboratively with clients and consultant teams across the lifecycle of a project to achieve pragmatic planning outcomes. He has worked in many contexts and has partnered with a wide range of clients from local and state government to the private and not-for-profit sectors.
As a visual communicator, Danai is highly skilled at distilling and translating complex data and technical planning information into accessible, succinct and engaging communications and reports. He has well-developed graphics and mapping capabilities and is passionate about the power of visual communication and multimedia to inform, educate and inspire.
Having worked with market leading planning, design and consultation practices across Australia and the UK, Danai has recently returned to Melbourne to establish his own studio. CoFutures is a mixed-discipline consultancy specialising in planning strategy, communication, and multimedia for the built environments.
